Welcoming a new baby into your home is a life-changing experience. Whether you’re a new mom, a WAHM, a mother of multiples, a homeschooling mom, or an adoptive mom- bringing a new baby into the mix can be emotional, wonderful, hard, and completely overwhelming.
Shortly before welcoming baby #4 into our home, I began to think about how these changes would affect our family. I’m a work at home mom, we’re involved in ministry, we homeschool, I have a 7-year-old, a 5-year-old, and a 1-year-old.
We just adjusted to life with a new baby last year, and here we are, at it again.
I knew that I wanted to get my children involved. I knew that we would be taking a break from homeschooling. I knew that my role in ministry would change. My life as a mother is evolving, things are moving quickly.
So, I did the only thing I knew how to do. I prayed. I evaluated my life and my actions in preparation for these changes, and I told the Lord that I was giving it to Him.
I began thinking about how I could help other mamas through this new season of life and I knew that I had a community that could help where I couldn’t.
I turned to some great bloggers who I knew would have awesome tips to make the transition just a tad smoother, and to help encourage you on your journey to welcoming a new baby into your home!
