Don’t get all crazy on me now, while I do get a few requests for slow cooker recipes (and yes, I’m thinking about it), I’m NOT planning on going all out of wack and giving you tons of recipes now. My life consistently revolves around my pressure cooker and I don’t see that streak isn’t ending anytime soon.
But when Twin Dragons approached me about entering their recipe challenge, I knew exactly what I wanted to do- a pressure cooker recipe. That thought hasn’t changed, it’s coming too, but as I was testing out a few new ideas, I knew I wanted to try my hand at some dessert egg rolls.
But then the recipe evolved into something AMAZING and I couldn’t help but pass this one over to you too. So, here goes nothing- Chocolate Cheesecake Egg Rolls! Welcome to Dessert Heaven, folks. I even added a little Nutella, and then berries- because I’m healthy like that. (serious LOL’s)
I was a little skeptical that I would be able to pull these off considering I’ve never made egg rolls. I mean, my burrito wrapping skills- which are severely lacking- are the closest that I’ve ever been to stuffing a dough. So, I thought this would be a total fail. But, I was so wrong! These Twin Dragon Egg Roll Wrappers were super easy to use and really delicious!
Thus far, my testing has proved that these egg roll wrappers do extremely well in the air fryer. So, if you wanted to make Air Fryer Egg Rolls, then you go for it, girl! The photos you see in this post are actually from the Air Fryer Chocolate Cheesecake Egg Rolls batch! Don’t they look yummy?!
But, if you don’t have an air fryer, or if your heart’s desire is to deep fry them to the perfect scrumptious bite- I totally won’t judge you. Just as long as you promise to share the deliciousness with everybody you meet. You can do that now by sharing this post to your favorite social channel! We’d love you forever!
Cream cheese, chocolate, and berries, wrapped in a golden crunchy crust then topped with powdered sugar- oh my lanta. Chocolate cheesecake egg rolls will be your go-to guilty pleasure, party dessert, or the sweet treat for a special friend!
Everybody loves a friendly tip, so here’s yours. Don’t overfill them! It may seem like you’re not and then things start exploding when you fry. You end up with a burnt chocolate smell, a nasty grease-chocolate mixture, and a huge mess. Your best bet is to keep it simple.

Chocolate Cheesecake Egg Rolls that are to die for! So, here goes nothing- welcome to Dessert Heaven, folks. I even added a little Nutella, and then berries- because I'm healthy like that.
- 12-15 single Twin Dragons Egg Roll Wrappers
- 1 8oz package cream cheese softened
- 8 oz high quality baking chocolate I prefer milk chocolate, but it's your choice.
- 1 tbs powdered sugar
- 2 tbs Hazelnut Spread heaping
- 2 tbs water for sealing egg roll wrappers
- 1/4 cup chopped berries of choice optional
- powdered sugar for dusting optional
In a microwave-safe bowl, temper your chocolate. Microwave for 30 seconds and then stir. Then in 10-second increments, stirring in between, until fully melted. Stir in hazelnut spread.
Beat (by hand or mixer) softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy and combined.
Stir together cream cheese mixture and chocolate mixture until combined.
Turn a Twin Dragon Egg Roll Wrapper so that one corner is facing you. A little below the middle of the wrapper, add one heaping tablespoon of the mixture, and then layer fruit.
Dip your finger into the water and run across all edges to wet the wrapper for sealing. Pull the corner that is facing you towards the top corner and tucking against the mixture. Roll the wrapper upwards one time. Tuck the edges toward the middle of the wrapper and then roll again.
If cooking in an air fryer, be sure to lightly brush the egg rolls with oil and place in an even layer. Cook on 375 degrees for about 6-8 minutes. Flipping halfway through. Egg rolls will be golden brown when finished.
If cooking in oil, preheat to 375 degrees and cook until the wrappers turn golden brown.
Let the egg rolls cool before serving. Best if served still slightly warm (for crunch) and dusted with powdered sugar.
You can also serve with fresh fruit and/or whipped cream.
