Right now, if there was one thing that I could tell any parent about raising kids it would be “Take every opportunity you can to teach them about Christ.”
They don’t stay little (or teachable) for very long, so there’s only a small window of time we have to teach them, be there for them, and love them. Seize the day.
Planning ahead for St. Patrick’s Day? You can talk to your kids about Jesus with our fun Treasures in Heaven St Patrick’s Day Craft too.
We’re always talking about ways that you can take ordinary situations and turn them into God-moments. So what’s the opportunity this week? Upcoming Valentine’s Day.
Last Monday, we kicked off the week by sharing a limited-time kid’s freebie with you, Valentine’s Day Scripture Copywork for Kids. Today, we’re extending our Valentine’s Day excitement with these Fun Scripture Valentines Printable for Kids!
Each of the Scripture Valentine’s Cards comes in a variety of sizes for you to choose which Kid’s Valentine option works best for you.
There are 4 total prints, and all but one comes in three shapes/sizes each requires some type of small task cut-out and candy assembly.
The first option is a Vertical Treat Topper option; you fill a snack sized zipper bag with treats and attach the topper with a stapler.
The second is a Square Treat Tag option; with this option, you can fill cellophane bags with treats and attach the tag with a string or staple. The last is a Half-Page Valentine where you can glue/tape the candy to the card.
Our “Jesus is the sweetest LIFE SAVER“ is one of my favorites. Depending on what type of card you choose, you can opt for the long rolls of candy, the individually wrapped hard candies or the bags of gummies!
“You are TREASURED by God“ this comes from the scripture where we are told that we are a chosen people. We are special to God! What better way to talk about that than with treasure! And candy? Well, there’s no better option than Chocolate Gold Coins!
“Don’t be an AIR HEAD, follow Jesus“ Choosing Jesus is the best choice that you could ever make. Don’t skip the chance to tell someone else. Let this be your door-opener. Share about it, shout it from the rooftops! Don’t let the opportunity to talk about Christ pass you by!
“A friend LOVES at all times” I made this one with parents and kids in mind. Sharing the love of Christ during Valentine’s Day is a great thing. Maybe there’s someone you would like to show how much you think of them or appreciate them. It’s almost like a thank-you.
