It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been saved, the devil will always, always, always use your prayer time as a tactic to push you away from God. But, how does that happen? How will the enemy use my prayer time against me?
Prayer is one of the most powerful tools the Christian has in their repertoire. When you come to this understanding, you’ll no longer wonder why the enemy fights you so hard in your time with God. And this printable prayer journal can be an encouragement in your walk with Christ.
The devil has three main lies that he’s tried to control every Christian in history with.
First, he will try to convince you that you’re too busy to pray. He’ll cause make you feel like your family needs you more, this season is just different, and he’ll even tell you things like God doesn’t hear you.
Second, he’ll try to make you believe that you don’t need to pray. This is one of the biggest lies of the enemy. Salvation is not a one-time thing, it’s a revolving relationship that requires cultivation and attention- just like a marriage. A Christian without a prayer life is no Christian at all.
Third, he’ll tell you that God doesn’t hear you when you pray. He’ll make you wonder what you’re even doing when you go down to pray. That if you don’t get your answer right away- he doesn’t care. And if you can’t find the words- it’s probably flesh. And if you don’t feel anything- you must have done something wrong.
All lies of the enemy to make you feel like it’s too hard and that there’s no point. You’ve been there, I’ve been there. Every Christian there ever was has been there. Satan’s tactics are not new, and his lies are still lies. God is for you, just remember that.
A prayer journal can be just what you’re looking for to help encourage you in your walk with Christ.
