Essential Oils for Homeschoolers - The Fervent Mama: These essential oils for homeschoolers are sure to make sure that your homeschool year runs smoother! What're your essential oil picks for back to school?

I’ve been talking more and more about homeschooling these days and it’s getting a little surreal. We start homeschooling this year! Literally in just a few weeks we will begin our first school year as a homeschooling family. We’ve chosen, and ordered, our curriculum- it should be here any day now!

If you haven’t noticed already, I am a prepper. I am a researcher. I am a mess when it comes to organization, but because I prepare, I know exactly what my plan is. I’ve been doing everything I know how to to get ready for this school thing, and I really hope that we execute accurately. *fingers crossed*

Of course, I have a complete essential oil plan when it comes to homeschool. I’m even considering throwing it into our curriculum somewhere. Just kidding. But that may eventually be a good idea. However, our Young Living Essential Oils for homeschoolers is a real thing.

A few years ago, I wrote this post to about essential oils and back to school. That post was geared more toward the school attending student/parent. So this post is for you, the homeschooler. I’m gonna tell you exactly how we choose implement our essential oils into our homeschool.

Essential Oils for Homeschoolers

Diffuse

Diffusing essential oils is a process that gently disperses the oil as a mist into the air and allows the body to absorb them slowly through the air that we breathe. What better way to create a cool, calming, space than to diffuse some essential oils?

  • Young Living Essential Oils like Brain Power and Clarity are great to encourage focus.
  • Citrus Fresh is a great pick me up for sluggish mornings.
  • Lavender is an oil that helps to create a calming and controlled atmosphere.

Topical

Using oils topically allows the oil to be directly applied to the ‘problem’ area. This method allows the body to absorb the oils through the skin and is a more affective way to use essential oils.

  • Young Living Essential Oils like Harmony and Valor help to encourage and boost self esteem.
  • Peace and Calming helps to reduce stress and tensions.
  • Vetiver helps to maintain focus and uplift spirits.

Consumption

There’s a lot of flack that comes around when you start talking about consuming or ingesting essential oils. I toss it up as this, everything outside of moderation has the possibility of being ‘bad’ for you.

  • Add a few drops of a citrus oil to a glass of water for a great pick-me-up.
  • A shot of NingXia Red is great for immune support
