As a kid, it wasn’t always fun. But we had great memories! One thing it prepared me for, was being a shopper who waited on the deals, learning how to stack coupons, and haggling like my life depended on it.

On Black Friday, I remember her leaving in the middle of the night and not seeing her for close to 24-36 hours. But she always managed to secure the best Christmas presents!

And because she knew how to shop, she did it at low cost!

She’s partially the reason I became an Extreme Couponer. No, I’m no longer couponing anymore. That was another lifetime ago.

Most years, my holiday shopping begins on Black Friday and is complete by Cyber Monday. Don’t sleep on BF-CM Mama!
